- Blackmores Cholesterol Health 60 Tablets helps maintain healthy cholesterol.
- Blackmores Cholesterol Health contains vegetable Phytotesrol esters (plan sterols) 1g (1000g), Natural Betacoroten 1.5mg.
- Phytosterols are similar in structure to cholesterol in the human body and block cholesterol from being absorbed. They should be part of a heart-healthy eating plan.
- Betacarotene is a fat soluble antioxidant found in fruits and vegetables- particularly carrots. Also called provitamin A, betacarotene is converted into vitamin A in the body.
- Studies with humans and mice show the conversion of beta-carotene to vitamin A reduces "bad" cholesterol in the blood. Thus, beta-carotene can help protect against atherosclerosis development, which leads to the accumulation of fats and cholesterol in our arteries.
